A ERP implementation project involves a wide range of aspects, including software, hardware and services from a large aspect, which is a huge systematic project. From a small point of view, project planning, organization, resource allocation, control and coordination are indispensable conditions for project success. All these problems will ultimately be attributed to people. We can see that the importance of human resource management in the implementation of ERP project. I will make a brief exposition through several management stories.
First, establish and improve the mechanism to form a good environment for human resource management.
Management Story 1: seven people divide porridge
Seven people lived together and drank a barrel of congee every day. At first, they drew lots to decide who was going to divide the gruel, one round each day. So every week, they have only one day to eat, that is the day of their own porridge. Later they began to elect a moral man to come out. The essence of management lies in "management". The main responsibility of a manager is to establish a reasonable rule of game, such as "taking turns to divide porridge, and then taking part", so that each employee can manage himself according to the rules of the game. Game rules should take into account the interests of the company and personal interests, and to make personal interests and the company's overall interests unify, to achieve the perfect combination of responsibilities, rights and interests, three indispensable. Without responsibility, the company will produce corruption, and then decline; lack of rights, the implementation of managers will become waste paper; if there is no benefit, employees will be less active and slow down. Therefore, in the process of implementing ERP, enterprises should first establish a platform of perfect combination of "responsibility, right and profit" to form a relatively fair and reasonable human resource management mechanism. Only in this way can we fully mobilize the enthusiasm of employees and show their abilities.
Two, develop reasonable training contents to improve staff quality.
Management Story 2: Son of Yu Wang
A fisherman has a first-class fishing technology and is known as "fishing king" by people. However, the "fishing king" was very upset when he was old, because his three sons' fishing skills were mediocre. So I often tell my heart about the trouble: "I really don't understand. My fishing skills are so good. Why are my sons so poor? I taught them fishing skills from their knowledge, taught them from the most basic things, told them how to spin nets to catch fish easily, and how to row fish would not disturb fish. How to get rid of nets is the easiest way to invite fish into the urns. When they grow up, I teach them how to know the tides and identify the flood. I have imparted to them all the experiences I have been trying to sum up for years, but their fishing techniques have failed to catch up with the sons of fishermen who are inferior to me.

The ERP project requires the implementation personnel to have comprehensive qualities such as management and technology. This requires employees not only to know the management ideas of ERP, to know the business process of their own departments, to have certain information technology, but also to require employees to examine the business process and personnel coordination from the overall perspective and the use of information technology. How to make training content and what training methods have become a key issue to improve the quality of employees.
The above fable tells us that we should pay attention to the contents and methods of training when we train staff. According to my experience in recent years, I think that training contents should be trained according to ERP in different stages and different people. In the early stage, we will train some leaders and project teams in the training of ERP management concepts and processes (at the same time, we should also train some staff on proper ERP knowledge and improve their ERP approval). We should carry out some management and technical training for the department heads and technology implementation in the implementation process. In the course of training, how to successfully implement the content of ERP, we should analyze the failure lessons of implementing ERP to avoid the result of the failure of fishermen to train three sons.
At the same time, the process of staff learning and training runs through the whole process of project implementation. And through consultancy, self-study, mutual discussion, assignment training and teaching to others, we can appropriately increase their opportunities for self-learning and self realization in the implementation process, so that employees can fully understand the difficulties in the implementation process of ERP, and have the ability to solve problems on their own based on collaboration and produce one new one after another, and provide adequate human capital for the successful implementation of ERP.

Management Story 3: soldiers under the barrel
When a young artillery officer took office, he went to the subordinate units to inspect the drill and found that there were a common situation when several troops practiced: in practice, a soldier always stood under the barrel of the cannon and remained motionless. After questioning, the answer is: drill regulations are stipulated in this way. Originally, the regulations were based on the rules of the era of horse drawn artillery. At that time, the soldier's task under the barrel was to hold the reins of the horse, so as to prevent the distance deviation caused by the recoil force and reduce the time of aiming again after the artillery was launched. In the atmosphere of good management mechanism, the primary task of management is scientific division of labor. Each job has a clear division of labor, each employee has a clear responsibility, only in this way can reduce the Commission, wrangle and other bad phenomena. Every employee can love and work well, and the company's machine can run smoothly. At the same time, managers should make timely adjustments to the number and division of labor according to the changes of the company. Otherwise, there will be "soldiers who do not pull horses" in the team, which will eventually lead to a decline in the overall efficiency of the company.
In addition to the consulting group of consultants and the implementation of ERP manufacturers, the ERP project usually sets up three teams: the ERP project leading group, the working group and the implementation group. The leading group of the ERP project is headed by the general manager, making the final decision on the overall progress and major problems affecting the project. Under the leadership of CIO, the project working group is mainly composed of the middle level leaders of the Department, responsible for the daily coordination of ERP projects, listening to the report of the ERP project implementation team, coordinating the business relationship between the project team and other departments of the enterprise, and ensuring the smooth progress of the project. The ERP project implementation team is the executor of the project specific work. The implementation team is composed of technical personnel, business managers and some middle level leaders in the IT department. Most of its staff are the backbone of various departments, mostly in ERP projects. On the basis of reasonable division of labor and staffing, ERP project organizations should also take full account of the different stages of ERP projects, make different adjustments to personnel responsibilities and post settings to meet the management needs in different stages such as demand analysis, system selection and system implementation, fully mobilize the enthusiasm of employees and realize the rational optimization of human resources.
Management story 4: monkey experiment
Scholars from University of California did an experiment: 6 monkeys were put in 3 empty houses, each of which contained a certain quantity of food, but the location was different. The food in the first house is placed on the ground, and the food in the second houses is suspended from the easy to the difficult position at different heights. The food of the third houses is hung on the roof. A few days later, they found that the monkey in the first house was killed and injured, and the injured ear was cut off. The monkeys in the third houses also died. Only second house monkeys live well. The reason is that two monkeys in the first house saw the food on the ground when they entered the room, so they fought to fight for the food that they could easily get. Although the monkeys in the third houses worked hard, they were starved to death because the food was too high and too difficult to reach. Only second of the two monkeys first jumped and fed on their own instincts. Finally, as the height of the suspended food increased, the difficulty of the two monkeys increased. Only the monkeys could only get food through collaboration, so a monkey picked up another monkey and jumped up to feed. In this way, we can get enough food to eat every day and live well.

On the basis of the division of jobs, we should also conduct a full analysis of the individual capabilities of employees and make reasonable division of labor with employees. According to the responsibilities and needs of different jobs in ERP projects, employees with different abilities can be selected. At the same time, according to the different knowledge structure and ability level of employees, different jobs can be arranged in different positions, and different work abilities can be set up in different positions. If the position is too low, everyone can do well, and can not reflect the ability and level, and the talent can not be selected. Instead, it becomes an internal friction type of fight or even slaughter. The result is just like two monkeys in the first house. The difficulty of the post is too great, though hard and unable to, and even buried and obliterated talent, such as the fate of third monkeys in two houses. The position should be appropriate and gradual, just like the food of the second houses. In this way, we can truly reflect the ability and level, and give full play to human initiative and wisdom.
Four, enhance teamwork and enhance overall efficiency.
Management story 5:V flying geese
Wild geese have a cooperative instinct. They fly in a V type. These geese regularly change leaders when flying, because the geese headed by lead in front can help the geese on both sides to form partial vacuum. Scientists found that geese fly in this form, 12% more distances than flying alone.

The ultimate goal of ERP implementation is to improve the overall efficiency and enhance the overall competitiveness of enterprises. To this end, ERP project management should advocate team spirit, give full play to the strengths of different personnel in different stages of implementation, optimize the allocation of human resources and achieve the same flush effect, and achieve the goal of different stages of successful implementation of ERP projects.
