According to the recent news of the Italy Footwear Manufacturers Association (ANCI) website, in the 1-8 month, the footwear industry in Italy continued to rise in the first half of the year.

A total of 178 million pairs of shoes were exported, an increase of 2.9% over the same period last year. The export amount reached 4 billion 800 million euros, an increase of 9.6% over the same period last year, with an average export price of 26.9 euros / pairs. The main export countries are still Germany, France, Britain, the United States and Spain.

In the first 8 months, Italy imported 299 million pairs of shoes from abroad, an increase of 11.9% over the same period last year, and imports of 2 billion 310 million euros, an increase of 4.1% over the same period last year, with an average import price of 7.73 euro / double.

The number of shoes imported from China is still the highest in Italy, reaching 171 million pairs, representing an increase of 22.5% over the same period last year, accounting for 57.2% of its total imports. The import value is 510 million euros, representing an increase of 8.5% over the same period last year, accounting for 22.1% of its total imports. The average import price is 2.98 Euro yuan / double, down 11.4% from the same period last year, and the other four main importers are Romania, Vietnam, Belgium and India.
