The optimum technological conditions for the extraction of activated carbon by sulfuric acid activation and its effect on printing and dyeing wastewater were investigated. The results showed that the adsorption capacity of activated carbon was excellent when the carbonization time was 150min, the carbonization temperature was 800 C, the dilution ratio of sulfuric acid was 1: 1, the solid-liquid ratio was 1: 2, the activation time was 90min, and the activation temperature was 60 degrees.

With the adsorption and treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater, under the conditions of 15g/L, 120min, 160r/min, pH value, pH, and temperature, the decolorization rate is 96.7%., and the utilization of the peanut shell is achieved by 96.7%., which opens a new way for the preparation of activated carbon and the application of activated carbon treatment wastewater.

Activated carbon is a porous carbon containing material, which has been applied to various industries of industry and national economy, as well as various aspects of environmental protection and human life.

Traditional activated carbon is mostly made from wood, charcoal, sawdust, coconut shell and core. With the enhancement of social environmental awareness, especially in the Yangtze River, Songhua River and Nenjiang River Basin in 1998, the great floods have made people realize that the ecological deterioration has a huge negative impact on the survival and sustainable development of the nation. The state quickly cut down natural forests. These factors led to the shrinkage of wood and charcoal sources, that is, raw materials for preparing activated carbon were greatly restricted, and prices also showed an upward trend.

According to statistics, the annual output of peanut hull in China is 4 million 500 thousand T.. In recent years, with the development of rural economy and the improvement of energy supply, the utilization of peanut shells has gradually decreased, and the proportion of peanut shells in rural energy has been decreasing. Under this situation, this paper takes the agricultural solid waste peanut shell as raw material to prepare activated carbon, and discusses the technological conditions for the preparation of activated carbon, and further explores the activated carbon used in the treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater.

Activated carbon

The process conditions of adsorption treatment of chromaticity in dyeing wastewater.

It is of practical significance to prepare activated carbon from waste biomass materials by practical new technology.

Printing and dyeing wastewater is characterized by large amount of water, high content of organic pollutants, difficult to degrade substances, high chromaticity and complex components.

Printing and dyeing industry is a large number of industrial wastewater discharge. With the development of chemical industry, dyestuff industry and the demand of consumers for printing and dyeing processing, a large number of new auxiliaries, dyes and slurry have been widely applied, resulting in the increasingly complex and changeable organic matter in printing and dyeing wastewater. Due to the large changes in the quality of printing and dyeing wastewater and the poor biochemical treatment effect, especially the decolorization effect is poor, it has become a key problem in the treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater.

The maximum absorption wavelength of printing and dyeing wastewater is 604nm, pH value is 5), sulfuric acid (H2SO4), and analytically pure.

Preparation of activated carbon.

The peanut shells were placed in a crucible. After being carbonized for a certain time in muffle furnace, the shells were ground and sieved. 100 of the carbon was put into the sealed bag for stand-by.

A certain amount of carbon was obtained in a sulfuric acid with a certain dilution ratio. After heating for a certain time in a water bath, the product was removed and distilled water to neutral. Then activated peanut shell activated carbon was dried at 105 degrees.

Treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater.

A certain amount of activated carbon was used in the cone bottle with 100mL grinding plug, and then 100mL printing and dyeing wastewater was added into the cone bottle. After 25 hours, the water bath oscillator was oscillated for a certain time, then filtered, and the absorbance value before and after adsorption was measured at 604nm.

The decolorization effect of printing and dyeing wastewater is investigated. The decolorization rate is calculated according to the following formula: the ETA = 100%A0-AeA0 type: the ETA is decolorization rate,%; A0 is before adsorption.

The absorbance value of Ae is the absorbance value after adsorption.
