Chongqing Detected Multiple Batches Of Imported Children'S Clothing Failed

A total of 7 batches of unqualified products were detected, with an unqualified rate of 29.17%.

On the eve of the "61" children's day, the Chongqing inspection and quarantine department released the results of random sampling of children's clothing imported from Japan, Korea and Japan.

Recently, the inspection and Quarantine Department of Chongqing has purchased 24 batches of children's clothing from South Korea, Japan and India through the "mysterious buyer" way through cross-border electricity suppliers. The sampling projects mainly involve safety, health and anti fraud.

Among the detected problems, the fiber content was not qualified as 6 batches, accounting for 85.71% of the unqualified batches, and the 1 batches of unqualified odor accounted for 14.29% of the unqualified batches.

4 of the substandard products came from Korea, the 2 batch came from Turkey, and the 1 batch came from India.

At the same time, the Chongqing inspection and Quarantine Bureau in this year, the Chongqing port import inspection, found 33 batches of substandard children's products, the rate of unqualified detection was 15.64%, including 32 batches of children's wear (including 25 batches of port inspection, 7 batches of cross border electricity supplier supervision and sampling), 1 batches of infant diapers (oral shore test), mainly fiber content,

And so on.

Public data show that in 2014, the national entry exit inspection and quarantine system intercepted 9565 imported children's products.

In 2015 1-5, 5770 imported children's products were disqualified, covering imported infants and children's clothing, children's toys, infant diapers (PAD), children's food contact products (including bottles, pacifiers and children's tableware, etc.)

Children's car safety seats and other unqualified items include toxic and hazardous substances exceeding the standard, inconsistent fiber contents, unqualified physical and mechanical safety, no 3C signs, unqualified warning instructions, and unqualified product labels. No matter whether the number or types of intercepted substandard has been increased, they are showing an upward trend compared with previous years.
