Puma Will Buy Holland Company To Develop Underwear Products.

It is reported that at the beginning of 2009, Puma, a sportswear manufacturer, will acquire a majority stake in Holland Dobotex through regulatory liquidation.

The total amount of financing for the paction has not yet been announced.

Puma and Dobotex sign a long-term licensing contract on socks and underwear.

The two companies have been partners since 1997. Other customers of Dobotex include well-known brands Tommy Hilfiger and Marc O 'Polo.

Recently, Puma and Dobotex signed a new licensing contract on underwear. The first batch of new products will enter Puma store in 09 spring / summer.

The sale of Puma underwear in a new round is 09 years in autumn / winter.

The sale began in December 08, when the contract between Puma and the former license holder Schiesser leisure company expired.

Puma is the third largest sportswear company in the world, second only to Nike and Adidas, or a member of PPR, a luxury luxury company in France. It gained 60% of the company's stock in 2008.
